The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has added the 21Shares Polkadot staking exchange-traded fund to its listings under the ticker TDOT, according to Crypto Briefing. The move places the product inside the U.S. ETF infrastructure and comes alongside a formal name change by 21Shares. Effective Aug. 27, 2026, the fund has been renamed from the 21Shares Polkadot ETF to the 21Shares Polkadot Staking ETF. The revised name reflects the way the product is structured: it holds DOT and stakes 40% to 95% of its holdings through network validators, with rewards distributed to shareholders every quarter. Crypto Briefing said the staking yield currently stands at 2.04%, while the management fee is 0.3%. Custody is handled by Anchorage Digital, BitGo and Coinbase. The ETF first listed on Nasdaq on March 6, 2026, with about $11 million in seed capital. By the end of August, assets under management were about $7.5 million to $7.9 million.

Crypto Briefing said the change was not only cosmetic. By adding “staking” to the product name, 21Shares is more explicitly describing how the fund works for institutional investors. The ETF holds DOT tokens and stakes 40% to 95% of its portfolio through network validators, then distributes the rewards to shareholders on a quarterly basis.
