Odaily, citing The Block, reported that EarnOS, an on-chain digital advertising startup, has completed a $6 million Pre-A funding round. The round was led by 1kx, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures and Social Graph Ventures. The financing centers on EarnOS’s on-chain digital advertising business and brings together several investment firms active in the crypto sector.

Verona Adds a Four-Year Strategic Investment

In addition to the Pre-A round, EarnOS received a four-year, $12.5 million non-dilutive strategic investment from Verona, formerly known as XION. The investment will be used to support application verification, user onboarding and reward distribution systems. According to the disclosed information, these resources are directed at core operating components of the EarnOS application, including verification, user access and the mechanisms used to distribute task-based rewards.

EarnOS also announced a brand relaunch and said its L1 network will provide underlying support for EarnOS. The network will be used for large-scale user authentication and task incentive mechanisms. The announcement places the financing, strategic investment, brand restructuring and base-layer network support within the same phase of development for EarnOS’s on-chain digital advertising application and its user reward infrastructure.
