Edelman Financial Engines has disclosed about $34 million in spot Bitcoin ETF exposure, according to Bitcoin Magazine, with the position concentrated mainly in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and Grayscale-related products. While the allocation still represents a small slice of the firm’s broader portfolio, the report said it is larger than the company’s roughly $25 million position in Amazon.
The disclosure lines up with the public stance of founder Ric Edelman, who has backed Bitcoin ETFs since 2019. The report also noted that he founded the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals, an organization focused on crypto and blockchain education for financial advisors.
Separate filings cited the same day showed that Tudor Investment Corporation, led by macro trader Paul Tudor Jones, held 688,529 shares of IBIT worth about $22.9 million as of June 30. That was up from 579,083 shares in the previous quarter. Bitcoin Magazine said the increase drew attention given Jones’ long-standing reputation for reading inflation cycles.
