According to Odaily, a shell company connected to Elon Musk, named WIT Tech LLC, has acquired multiple properties in Grimes County, a rural area on the outskirts of Houston, over the past few weeks. The move indicates that the tech mogul may be finalizing the location for his massive planned chip factory, Terafab.

The Terafab project, jointly driven by SpaceX, Tesla, and xAI, aims to supply dedicated chips for artificial intelligence and robotics initiatives. With a total investment of up to $119 billion, the first phase alone is estimated at $55 billion. Land registration records show that WIT Tech LLC has purchased at least six parcels totaling over 6,000 acres (nearly 10 square miles), though the transaction amounts remain undisclosed.

Grimes County, situated northwest of Houston, sees this large-scale acquisition further solidifying the industrial footprint of Musk-affiliated companies in Texas.
