The Ethereum Foundation said in a post on X that Trezor hardware wallets now support Clear Signing through the ERC-7730 standard. The feature is designed to make transaction details easier to read and understand directly on hardware devices, giving users more visibility into what they are approving. The foundation said the rollout is part of the work led by its Clear Signing working group under the “Trillion Dollar Security” initiative. According to the post, that effort is meant to reduce the risk of users losing assets after blindly signing unclear transactions. The foundation also said it wants more wallets and decentralized applications to join the initiative, pointing to a broader push to improve transaction transparency and signing safety across the Ethereum ecosystem.
