Top Performing ETFs: BlackRock and Fidelity Defy the Trend
BlackRock's Ethereum spot ETF ETHA recorded $5.869 million in net inflow on the day, the highest among all Ethereum ETFs. Its historical cumulative net inflow now stands at an impressive $11.086 billion, solidifying its dominant position. Fidelity's FETH followed closely with $5.252 million in net inflow, bringing its lifetime cumulative net inflow to $2.113 billion. Both products track pure spot Ethereum exposure without staking yield, appealing to traditional capital allocators seeking straightforward price exposure.
Staked ETF Suffers Heavy Redemptions
In contrast, BlackRock's staked Ethereum ETF ETHB (Staked ETH ETF) experienced a massive net outflow of $37.549 million, making it the worst-performing product on the day. Since its launch, ETHB has amassed $520 million in cumulative net inflows, but recent outflows suggest investor reconsideration of staking-linked products. Analysts attribute the divergence to structural issues such as insufficient liquidity premiums and shifting market expectations for staking yields, prompting some investors to redeem in favor of more flexible or lower-cost alternatives.
Total Assets and Cumulative Trends
As of press time, total net assets of Ethereum spot ETFs reached $8.594 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio (ETF market cap relative to total Ethereum market cap) at 4.4%. Despite the day's outflow, cumulative net inflows remain high at $10.873 billion, indicating that long-term institutional positioning has not fundamentally turned bearish.
