Ethereum staking has climbed to a fresh record, according to AMBCrypto, with 41.4 million ETH now locked in staking contracts. That figure represents 34% of the asset’s total supply, and more than 1.4 million ETH was added in the past week alone. The increase comes as large holders continue to move capital into staking even while broader market liquidity weakens. Tom Lee-backed BitMine staked another 150,100 ETH, valued at about $278 million. Its total staked ETH has now reached 5.07 million ETH, worth roughly $9.38 billion, equal to 87.4% of its ETH holdings. AMBCrypto also said another whale address withdrew and staked a cumulative 112,000 ETH over the past three weeks, worth more than $208 million. At the same time, stablecoin market capitalization fell 1.6% this quarter, described as the worst quarterly performance on record. More than $6 billion in liquidity has left the crypto market, while average daily spot trading volume across the market has dropped nearly 70% from its January peak to about $15 billion.
