ETHTaipei 2026 will be held on Sept. 13-14 at POPOP Taipei, the Nangang Bottle Cap Factory venue in Taipei. The annual Ethereum developer conference in Taiwan is entering its fourth edition and will introduce a two-day format for the first time.
Under the new structure, Sept. 13 will be run as Cryptonative Day for Ethereum developers and technical communities. Sept. 14 will be Institution Day, designed for banks and financial institutions, with topics ranging from core protocol research and on-chain finance to custody, real-world assets, or RWA, and institutional-grade applications.
Martinet from the ETHTaipei organizing team said, 「Crypto technology and the real world are converging, and what makes that possible is the research and engineering behind it. That is the core of ETHTaipei 2026.」
First wave of speakers announced
The first announced speakers for ETHTaipei 2026 come from Polymarket, Uniswap, the Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe, LINE NEXT, CertiK, OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp, Across Protocol and PIF12.
According to the organizers, the initial lineup covers protocol research, DeFi, security, cross-chain infrastructure and consumer-facing applications. More speakers will be announced later.
Agenda split between builders and institutions
Cryptonative Day will cover protocol and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security and developer tooling.
Institution Day will focus on institutional wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, RWA and tokenized U.S. stocks, AI Agent-driven machine finance, and how financial institutions choose chains. The full schedule and session details will be posted on the official website after they are finalized.

The event will also connect Ethereum communities across Taiwan and Asia, university blockchain clubs and media partners.

ETHTaipei’s track record since 2023
The organizers describe ETHTaipei as a community-driven Ethereum event created with the goal of connecting blockchain communities in Taiwan and across Asia with leading global teams for deeper technical exchange.
Since its first edition in 2023, ETHTaipei has recorded more than 3,000 attendees, 169 speakers, 129 talks and more than 70 side events, according to the organizers. They said the event continues to support Taiwan’s role as a technical Ethereum hub in Asia.
