ETHTaipei 2026 Set for September in Taipei
ETHTaipei 2026, Taiwan's annual Ethereum developer conference, will be held on September 13-14 at the Nangang Bottle Cap Factory (POPOP Taipei) in Taipei. The organizers announced the two-day keynote lineup today: September 13, Cryptonative Day, will be opened by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin; September 14, Institution Day, will feature a keynote by Taiwan Mobile General Manager Lin Zhichen, bridging Ethereum core technology with local industry adoption.

Vitalik Buterin to Open Cryptonative Day
Day one, Cryptonative Day, will be headlined by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. This day is tailored for Ethereum developers and the technical community, covering protocol and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security, and developer tools.
Lin Zhichen to Lead Institution Day
Day two, Institution Day, will feature a keynote by Taiwan Mobile GM Lin Zhichen. This day focuses on topics relevant to banks and financial institutions, including institutional-grade wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, real-world assets (RWA) and tokenization of US stocks, AI agent-driven Machine Finance, and chain selection for financial institutions. Expanding International and Local Speaker Lineup
Beyond the two keynotes, ETHTaipei 2026 speakers hail from Polymarket (global prediction market), Uniswap (decentralized exchange protocol), Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe (blockchain infrastructure), LINE NEXT, CertiK (blockchain security), OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp (smart contract auditing), Fluidkey, Morpho, imToken Labs, PIF12, and Swarm Protocol, covering protocol research, DeFi, privacy, security, and consumer applications. More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
