ETHTaipei 2026 has announced the keynote lineup for its two-day conference, with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin set to open day one and Taiwan Mobile President Jamie Lin to headline day two.
The event will be held on Sept. 13-14 at POPOP Taipei in Nangang, Taipei. Organizers said free tickets are now open for registration in limited quantities.
Vitalik Buterin to open Cryptonative Day
The first day, titled "Cryptonative Day," is geared toward Ethereum developers and technical communities, with Buterin delivering the keynote.
The agenda includes protocol and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security, and developer tools.
According to the event description, the appearance continues a recent pattern of Buterin visiting Taiwan and engaging closely with the local developer community.
Jamie Lin to lead Institution Day
The second day, "Institution Day," will feature Jamie Lin, president of Taiwan Mobile, as keynote speaker. The program will center on issues followed by banks and financial institutions, including institutional-grade wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, real-world assets (RWA) and tokenized U.S. equities, AI Agent-driven "Machine Finance," and how financial institutions select underlying public blockchains.
This will also be the first year ETHTaipei has added a dedicated day for financial institutions, in an effort to connect Ethereum’s core technologies with industry adoption in Taiwan.
Organizer Martinet said, "Crypto technology and the real world are converging, and what makes it possible is the research and engineering behind it."
Speaker and sponsor roster expands
Beyond the two keynote speakers, ETHTaipei 2026 said teams from Polymarket, Uniswap, the Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe, LINE NEXT, CertiK, Quantstamp, Morpho, and imToken Labs will also appear, covering protocol research, DeFi, privacy, security, and consumer-facing applications.
On the sponsor side, Gold sponsors include BSOS, the Digital Asset Development Research Center (DADRC), Sigmarket, and Taiwan Mobile. Silver sponsors include Taishin Shin Kong Financial Holding, Quantstamp, and KlickKlack.
