Odaily, citing Jin10, reported comments from Mark Hackett, chief market strategist at Nationwide Investment Management Group in Philadelphia, on the latest Federal Reserve rate decision. Hackett said the dissenting votes could point to a new pattern in which policymakers are showing greater independence rather than deliberately maintaining a unified position. He also referred to a report from Citadel Securities that had called for a rate hike before the decision. With the outcome now out, Hackett said the market is seeing a relief rebound. Even so, he cautioned that it is still too early to make firm calls on market direction before Waller’s press conference. The remarks focused on how investors are reading the split within the Fed and the near-term reaction that followed the decision.

Odaily, citing Jin10, reported that Mark Hackett, chief market strategist at Philadelphia-based Nationwide Investment Management Group, commented on the Federal Reserve’s latest rate decision by saying: "These dissenting votes may reflect a new trend, with committee members showing greater independence rather than deliberately maintaining a unified stance."

Hackett also said Citadel Securities had earlier published a report calling for a rate hike, and that the market is now seeing a relief rebound after the rate decision was announced. Even so, he said it is still too early to draw firm conclusions about market direction before Waller’s press conference.
