Ferrari NV’s tokenized stock, RACE, has launched on Solana through the Sunrise asset gateway, with Backpack Securities serving as issuer. Each RACE token is backed 1:1 by one actual Ferrari share held in regulated custody, and holders can redeem the token through Backpack Securities for traditional stock ownership rights. The product is available across venues and wallets including Phantom, Jupiter, and Raydium, while offering 24/7 trading as well as access to dividends and other corporate actions. Backpack also said it plans to expand the number of tokenized stock tickers on Solana from roughly 200 to 10,000. The rollout adds another tokenized equity product to Solana’s onchain asset offering and ties the instrument directly to underlying shares through a regulated custody structure.
