A US dental device company is tapping the Solana blockchain for a Security Token Offering (STO). On July 24, 2026, First Block, Onpharma Company (Delaware), and UK-based Crito Capital announced the launch of what is believed to be the first Solana-based STO for an established US operating business, marking a structural turning point in the modernization of global private markets.
The STO deploys Solana blockchain infrastructure with atomic settlement technology, programmable ownership architecture, and digital distribution capabilities, all within existing US securities laws. Traditional private markets suffer from fragmented, multi-intermediary processes; the tokenized framework enables fast, transparent, low-cost issuance, settlement, and cross-border distribution to qualified investors. Secondary trades occur on-chain via compatible wallets with KYC controls, offering near-instant settlement, secondary liquidity, and international reach under Regulation S and other applicable frameworks.
Onpharma: A Commercial Dental Anesthesia Buffering System
Onpharma's core product is the Onset EZ Pen, a local anesthetic buffering device designed to solve decades-old problems of slow, uncomfortable, and unreliable dental anesthesia. It requires no assembly or specialist training and integrates directly into existing workflows. The device already buffers millions of dental injections annually. The company sits at a post-validation, pre-scale inflection point: infrastructure, supply chain, regulatory compliance, and initial commercialization are complete, while the growth phase is beginning.
Septodont's market entry in February 2025 validated anesthetic buffering as an emerging standard of care, reducing category risk and raising awareness. The disposable Onset EZ Pen provides operational leverage through scalable direct marketing, customer conversion, and recurring consumable revenue. The global dental anesthesia buffering market is valued at $2 billion and projected to reach $2.65 billion by 2030. Proceeds will extend field sales and expand direct selling via recently deployed AI marketing tools.
First Block's Architecture and Crito Capital's Role
First Block's digital securities architecture underpins the entire transaction—from issuance and compliance to Solana-based settlement and distribution—compressing conventional private placement infrastructure, fragmented custody, manual processing, and multi-intermediary chains into a single programmable blockchain system. Crito Capital LLP, an FCA-authorized investment banking and advisory platform, provided structuring and advisory.
We believe this transaction represents the beginning of the convergence between capital markets and Solana-based securities infrastructure,” said Daniel P. Cannon, CEO of First Block. “The STO itself is the story, but it starts with a real operating company, a real product, and exceptional revenue growth potential.” Onpharma CEO Matt Stepovich added: “Combining Onpharma's real-world commercial traction with First Block's Solana-based securities infrastructure is an important step in making growth capital formation more efficient, accessible, and transparent.”
The STO is structured as a Regulation S offshore issuance to non-US investors, blending the legal certainty of an exempt securities offering with the operational efficiency of Solana infrastructure. More details are available at sto.onpharma.com.
