YouTube analyst Jesse Eckel asked Claude Opus 4.7, ChatGPT Pro, Grok Heavy, Gemini DeepThink and Grok 4.3 beta to do one thing: project Bitcoin’s price over the next 30 days, six months and one year. The broad result leaned in one direction. Four of the five models said Bitcoin is more likely to stay flat or move higher from current levels.
Most models did not support the classic four-year bear-cycle view
Only Gemini DeepThink projected a lower price six months out, putting Bitcoin at $65,000 by October. The rest did not point to a deeper decline. The report framed this against the “four-year cycle bear case,” a thesis that Bitcoin should fall into the $30,000 to $40,000 range by October 2026 before recovering. In this experiment, Gemini was the only model that roughly matched that direction.
Grok Heavy said it checked 893 sources in under two minutes before producing its output. Its forecast called for $92,000 in six months and $118,000 by April 2027. ChatGPT Pro was the most conservative in the group, with targets of $76,000 in 30 days, $80,000 in six months and $84,900 in one year. Claude Opus 4.7 landed between the cautious and bullish cases, predicting $77,800 in 30 days and $98,000 over one year.
Grok 4.3 beta stood out with a $210,000 one-year call
The outlier was Grok 4.3 beta. The article described it as a fully new pre-trained model rather than a fine-tuned version of an earlier release. It forecast Bitcoin at $135,000 in six months and $210,000 in one year, far above the rest of the field. Eckel said access to Grok 4.3 requires the platform’s highest subscription tier and that the model was only released to early-access users last week.
The average forecast points to $119,000 by April 2027
When the five predictions were averaged, the consensus came to $77,000 in 30 days, $91,000 in six months and $119,000 in one year. The report said that would represent a 55% move from the current price by April 2027. Eckel also shared a forecast from his own Hidden State Engine model, which he said had an “eerily good track record” over the last two months. That model’s one-year target was $128,000.
The article did not present AI forecasting as proven. Eckel said every model he has built has eventually failed. At the time cited in the report, Bitcoin was trading at $76,467, up 1.52% over the previous 24 hours.
