Gate has released its transparency report for August 2026, outlining growth across several trading segments and citing recognition from data providers including CoinDesk, CryptoQuant, CryptoRank and DefiLlama. According to the report, the platform’s stock perpetual futures trading volume rose 308% month over month and has now logged triple-digit growth for three consecutive months. Gate also said its market share in open interest for RWA perpetual contracts reached 49.6%, placing it first among centralized exchanges globally.
The report added that Gate recorded about $9.5 billion in 24-hour spot and derivatives trading volume, while total open interest reached $12.48 billion. Both figures ranked in the global top three, according to the company. On the traditional finance side, Gate said its CFD business now covers 680 trading pairs spanning forex, metals, energy, indices and stocks.
