Gate DexBuilder, the DEX infrastructure platform under Gate, has launched its first event contract Builder and opened a $3 million grant program for global applicants, according to an official announcement.
The program is open to project teams, developers, communities, and Web3 applications. Gate DexBuilder said the move is aimed at supporting the buildout of the event contract market ecosystem.
The event contract Builder is designed to lower the barrier to developing market products. It offers integrated infrastructure services covering market creation, trading, liquidity support, settlement, and operations management. Using infrastructure tools such as APIs and SDKs, partners can deploy branded event contract products without having to build the underlying trading and settlement systems from the ground up.
Application scope includes trading platforms, wallets, media, and AI products
The program is currently accepting applications from brokers and integrated trading platforms, crypto wallets, Web3 applications, media and information platforms, AI Trading, AI Agent, quantitative trading platforms, as well as sports, esports, and entertainment products.
Selected projects can receive up to $3 million in funding and ecosystem support. The support will cover product development, technical integration, liquidity building, marketing, and user growth.
Jason Fung says more infrastructure is needed for the sector
Jason Fung, project lead at Gate DexBuilder and Head of Global Partnerships, said the development of the event contract market requires more application scenarios and stronger infrastructure support. He said Gate DexBuilder wants to use the event contract Builder to reduce construction barriers and help more partners explore innovative use cases in the event contract market.
Gate DexBuilder said it plans to continue opening up infrastructure capabilities for the event contract market and work with builders globally to explore additional application scenarios and support ecosystem growth.
