Gate has rolled out a limited-time trading campaign for its event contracts product, with the promotion running from Oct. 22 at 16:00 to Nov. 5 at 08:00 (UTC+8) and offering rewards worth a total of 100,000 USDT. According to the official announcement cited by Odaily, the campaign includes incentives for first trades by new users, trading check-ins, volume-based rewards, and a peak trading competition. Users must register before trading to qualify. At the product level, Gate has added an INDEX market based on contract index prices, covering BTC and ETH on 5-minute and 15-minute intervals. The new market uses Gate’s contract index price as the settlement benchmark and operates separately from the existing TWAP market. The platform has also introduced a one-click trading feature that supports preset order sizes of 5, 20, and 100 USDT, as well as custom amounts, to simplify order placement for short-cycle trading. Rewards will be distributed in the form of event contract trial vouchers. The first-trade reward can be stacked with other incentives, while the remaining three reward categories will be paid on a highest-eligible basis.

INDEX market and one-click trading go live

On the product side, Gate has added an INDEX market based on contract index prices. The new market covers BTC and ETH on 5-minute and 15-minute intervals, uses Gate’s contract index price as the settlement benchmark, and runs independently from the existing TWAP market.

Gate also rolled out a one-click trading feature at the same time. It supports preset order amounts of 5, 20, and 100 USDT, along with custom amounts, with the stated aim of simplifying order placement for short-cycle trades.

Campaign includes four reward tracks

The promotion covers four categories: a first-trade reward for new users, trading check-ins, trading milestone rewards, and a peak trading competition. Users must register before they trade during the campaign period.

The first 1,000 eligible new users who complete a first trade with a net buy value of no less than 20 USDT can receive a reward worth 5.5 USDT.

Users who complete the required trades and check in for at least three days in total can share a 10,000 USDT reward pool based on their proportion of check-in days.

Users with daily trading volume of at least 10,000 USDT for seven consecutive days can receive a reward worth 140 USDT. Those whose cumulative trading volume reaches 20,000 USDT can also take part in a separate 30,000 USDT volume-sharing reward pool.

For the peak ranking competition, users with cumulative trading volume of 150,000 USDT can receive a guaranteed reward worth 1,000 USDT. The top-ranked user can receive an additional reward worth 4,000 USDT.

Reward distribution rules

All rewards will be distributed as event contract trial vouchers. The first-trade reward can be claimed on top of other rewards, while the other three categories will be awarded on a highest-eligible basis.

According to the official announcement, the campaign is being launched alongside the product upgrade to give Gate event contract users more market options and a more efficient order placement experience.
