Odaily reported that Gate has further expanded its Hong Kong stock trading coverage to more than 1,500 listings. The latest expansion builds on its previous universe of over 1,000 Hong Kong stock targets and continues to broaden access to assets listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. According to the announcement, the move is intended to strengthen Gate’s connectivity to global equity markets and give users a wider range of Hong Kong-listed assets through the platform’s stock trading entry point.
Hong Kong Stock Access Across App and Web
Users can trade shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange directly through Gate’s stock portal. The service also supports participation in pre-market and after-hours trading sessions. Gate said users can use USDT to take part in Hong Kong stock investment without opening a traditional brokerage account or converting funds into Hong Kong dollars, reducing the operational barriers for global users entering the Hong Kong equity market.
Gate’s Hong Kong stock trading service is now available across both the App and Web platforms. On the mobile side, users need to update the Gate App to version 8.23.5 or above to access the relevant functions. The expanded list of Hong Kong stock targets covers listed companies on the Main Board and GEM with relatively higher market capitalization and better liquidity, further improving the structure of Hong Kong equity assets available on the platform.
Product Line Extends From IPO Access to U.S. Stocks and ETFs
Beyond Hong Kong secondary-market trading, Gate has built a multi-layered stock product system covering Pre-IPOs, IPO Access and secondary-market stock trading. IPO Access provides users with a new channel to participate in subscription opportunities for listings by popular global companies, complementing the platform’s broader stock trading services.
For U.S. equities, Gate Stocks supports trading in more than 10,000 major U.S. market stocks and ETFs using USDT. The coverage includes major U.S. securities trading markets and liquidity networks such as NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American and BATS. The service also supports fractional share trading with a minimum starting amount of 0.01 share. Gate said it will continue expanding coverage of global stocks and traditional financial assets while improving asset allocation efficiency and the trading experience.
