Gate founder and CEO Dr. Han said at a Gate press conference during TOKEN2049 in Singapore on Oct. 8 that financial services need to keep pace with faster market activity as asset growth and capital movement accelerate. He said Gate Money is designed to push financial efficiency to a new level as digital assets, stocks, fiat currencies, stablecoins, and payments increasingly converge.
According to Dr. Han, user demand is no longer limited to managing a single asset class. It is expanding into asset allocation, treasury management, and everyday payments. He said Gate Money integrates digital assets, stocks, ETFs, gold, fiat currencies, bank accounts, transfers, payments, and wealth management inside the Gate App.
Eligible users in supported regions can apply for a global electronic bank account under their own name and use the same account for asset management, investing, receiving and sending funds, currency exchange, and consumer payments. Dr. Han also said technologies such as stablecoins, on-chain payments, and digital securities are reshaping global financial infrastructure, and that Gate will keep exploring how these technologies can be used in real financial scenarios.
