Gemini has rolled out a Grok-powered feature for its prediction markets platform, adding a new product called Command Center. The tool builds a personalized market feed from each user’s open positions, watchlists, and previous prediction market activity, covering crypto, sports, commodities, politics, economics, and culture.
According to Gemini, Command Center is designed to cut down the time users spend searching through news and social feeds. It uses Grok and SpaceXAI models to generate real-time market summaries, sentiment checks, and tailored signals. Gemini said the feature is meant to surface relevant information directly instead of making users hunt for it across multiple platforms.
Separate from Gemini’s AI trading tools
The release comes after Gemini’s push into agentic trading. That earlier feature lets users connect AI models such as ChatGPT and Claude to their Gemini accounts so the models can monitor markets and place trades within user-set limits. Command Center serves a different purpose. It is focused on market discovery and prediction feeds, not direct trade execution.
The distinction matters for Gemini’s product strategy. One set of tools is built around execution, while this launch is centered on helping users find and track markets.
Prediction markets remain an early business line
Gemini said its prediction markets unit generated $400,000 in first-quarter revenue from 20,000 users. That is still small next to larger platforms including Kalshi and Polymarket.
Its broader business posted stronger numbers. Gemini’s total quarterly revenue rose 42% year over year to $50.3 million. At the same time, exchange revenue fell 27% as trading volume declined. That helps explain why the company has been building other revenue streams across credit cards, services, derivatives, and prediction markets.
Expansion continues under regulatory scrutiny
Gemini’s move deeper into prediction markets comes with legal pressure. In April, New York sued Gemini Titan and Coinbase Financial Markets, alleging that their event markets violated state gambling rules.
Gemini has also expanded its regulated market infrastructure this year. Its Olympus affiliate received a CFTC clearing license in April, following Gemini Titan’s CFTC market license in December 2025. In a separate matter, the CFTC asked a court to throw out Gemini’s $5 million enforcement settlement from a 2022 case, saying the case would not have been filed under the agency’s current standards.
The Grok launch shows Gemini using AI in a wider market strategy beyond spot crypto trading. In this case, the company is applying it to information discovery inside prediction markets rather than limiting AI to automated trading functions.
