Genius Group, a U.S.-listed company, has restarted its Bitcoin treasury buying program, according to GlobeNewswire. The company said it purchased 10 Bitcoin between Oct. 2 and Oct. 5 for about $854,000, with an average purchase price of $85,364 per BTC. The move marks its return to Bitcoin accumulation after liquidating its Bitcoin reserves in April this year. Genius Group said the purchase forms part of its $1.2 billion "dual treasury" capital plan. Under that plan, the company intends to allocate $827 million to Bitcoin-related assets and $800 million to AI assets. It also said it aims to lift total assets to $2 billion by fiscal 2031. The latest purchase gives the company a fresh Bitcoin position after a roughly six-month gap following its earlier exit from its holdings.
