Precious Metals Slide
According to the latest data from Gate, gold prices fell 2.26% intraday to $4,347.14 per ounce. Silver dropped to $64.64 per ounce, down 2.14% on the day.
Forex: Dollar Strengthens Slightly
In the forex market, the U.S. dollar gained 0.08% against the offshore yuan (USD/CNH) to 6.72287. The dollar also rose 0.21% against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) to 160.069.
Global Equities Mixed
Global equity indices showed mixed performance. The Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) fell 0.55% to 6,386.12 points. The UK FTSE 100 (UK100) edged up 0.05% to 10,783.1 points. Germany's DAX 40 (GER40) dropped 0.77% to 26,031.5 points.
Commodities: Oil Rebounds
In commodities, WTI crude rose 2.16% to $88.63 per barrel. Brent crude gained 1.77% to $94.11 per barrel.
