On September 1, precious metals fell with gold down 2.26% to $4,347.14/oz and silver losing 2.14%. The U.S. dollar edged higher against the offshore yuan and the yen. Global equity indices were mixed: Euro Stoxx 50 and DAX 40 declined while FTSE 100 inched up. In commodities, WTI crude rose 2.16% and Brent crude gained 1.77%. Global equity indices showed mixed performance. The Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) fell 0.55% to 6,386.12 points. The UK FTSE 100 (UK100) edged up 0.05% to 10,783.1 points. Germany's DAX 40 (GER40) dropped 0.77% to 26,031.5 points.

Commodities: Oil Rebounds

In commodities, WTI crude rose 2.16% to $88.63 per barrel. Brent crude gained 1.77% to $94.11 per barrel.
