Goldman Sachs said in a research note that SanDisk’s fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter results, scheduled for release on Aug. 5, are likely to be a "very strong quarter." The bank expects the global NAND flash chip shortage to continue through 2026, with demand recovering across mobile, PC, and data center markets at the same time. On the supply side, Goldman said production capacity is being squeezed by demand from higher-end AI storage, leaving conventional products in short supply and keeping market prices on an upward trend. Against that backdrop, Goldman raised its target price on SanDisk from $1,200 to $2,200 and reiterated its Buy rating. The note said the sharp revision reflects confidence in the company’s fundamentals and a bullish view on the earnings report due in August.

Goldman Sachs said in a research note that SanDisk’s fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter results, due on Aug. 5, are expected to be a “very strong quarter.”

The bank said the global shortage in NAND flash chips will continue through 2026. It pointed to a recovery in demand across mobile devices, PCs, and data centers, while supply for conventional products remains tight because capacity has been pulled toward higher-end AI storage. Goldman added that market prices have continued to rise.

Based on that view, Goldman raised its target price on SanDisk from $1,200 to $2,200 and reiterated a Buy rating. The note said the aggressive revision reflects its recognition of the company’s fundamentals and a strong expectation for the fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter results to be released in August.
