Google has added Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 to its AI coding tool Antigravity, expanding the model lineup but limiting access to paying tiers. The two models are now available to Google AI Ultra users and to Google AI Pro users with full paid subscriptions. Pro users still in a free trial cannot use them, and neither Free nor Google AI Plus users have access for now. Antigravity also lets users choose among Low, Medium, and High thinking intensity settings when running the models. At the same time, Google is phasing out older options. Claude Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, and GPT-OSS-120b will be removed on Nov. 2. Based on the current model list, if no replacements arrive before then, Free and Google AI Plus users would be left with Gemini models only, with no Claude or GPT-OSS option. Google has not disclosed specific usage quotas for Claude 5.5. It only said Pro quotas refresh every five hours and are also subject to weekly limits. Gemini usage is counted separately from Claude and GPT.

Google has added Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 to its AI coding tool Antigravity.

The two models are available to Google AI Ultra users and to Google AI Pro users with full paid subscriptions. Pro users who are still on a free trial cannot access them. Free and Google AI Plus users do not have access to the 5.5 models for now.

Antigravity lets users choose from three thinking intensity levels for the models: Low, Medium, and High.

Google is also removing older models. Claude Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, and GPT-OSS-120b will be taken out on Nov. 2.

Based on the current model roster, if no new models are added before then, Free and Google AI Plus users would have no Claude or GPT-OSS options left and would only be able to use the Gemini lineup.

Google did not disclose the specific quota for Claude 5.5. It said only that Pro quotas refresh every five hours and are also subject to weekly limits. Gemini usage is tracked under a separate quota system from Claude and GPT.

Multiple Pro users have already said that a single Opus 5.5 task can drain both the five-hour quota and the weekly quota quickly. One user said about nine minutes of runtime used up half of the weekly allowance.
