Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and Gemini Enterprise for Legal, the first two industry-specific versions built on its Gemini Enterprise platform. The finance package is aimed at capital markets and corporate banking, combining a Financial Research Agent, more than 50 finance skills, and 13 data connectors that can pull from sources including FactSet, Moody’s, MSCI, S&P Global, and SEC EDGAR. Google said the setup can be used for KYC, credit research, portfolio risk analysis, and bond issuance materials. Deutsche Bank helped design the Financial Research Agent and plans to deploy it in its corporate bank, while CME Group has already started using the financial-services version. The legal package connects to tools and databases such as Harvey, Legora, Thomson Reuters, iManage, and RelativityOne for contract review, legal research, citation checking, and regulatory tracking. Google also said existing file permissions and matter-isolation rules remain in force, and customer data will not be used to train its foundation models. The launch points to a product strategy centered less on the base model itself and more on packaged industry data, access controls, workflows, and specialized agents.

Google Cloud has introduced Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and Gemini Enterprise for Legal, the first two industry-specific agent platforms built on Gemini Enterprise.

The company said versions for healthcare, life sciences, and other professional services are also on the way.

Finance package targets capital markets and corporate banking

The financial-services version is aimed at capital markets and corporate banking. It includes a Financial Research Agent, more than 50 finance skills, and 13 data connectors. Those connectors can pull directly from FactSet, Moody’s, MSCI, S&P Global, and SEC EDGAR.

Google said the package can be used for KYC, credit research, portfolio risk analysis, and bond issuance materials.

Deutsche Bank took part in designing the Financial Research Agent and plans to deploy it in its corporate bank. CME Group has already begun using the financial-services version of Gemini Enterprise.

Legal version connects with established research and workflow tools

The legal version can connect with Harvey, Legora, Thomson Reuters, iManage, and RelativityOne. Google said those integrations are intended for contract review, legal research, citation verification, and regulatory tracking.

The company also said existing file-permission settings and matter-isolation rules from underlying systems will remain in effect. Customer data, it added, will not be used to train Google’s foundation models.

Google is packaging industry data, controls, workflows, and agents

The launch frames Gemini Enterprise less as a standalone model and more as a platform with industry add-ons. In this setup, the model serves as the base layer, while the commercial focus shifts to specialized data, permissions, workflows, and purpose-built agents. Google is aiming for the entry point enterprises use to call on different AI tools.
