Grayscale Investments released the rebalancing results for several of its multi-asset crypto funds for the second quarter of 2026, adjusting allocations under the methodology of the indexes tracked by each product.
DeFi Fund sold UNI
The Grayscale DeFi Fund (DEFG) was rebalanced in line with the CoinDesk DeFi Select Index. The fund sold Uniswap (UNI) and redistributed the proceeds across its existing components based on their current weights.
As of the close on Aug. 3, the DEFG portfolio consisted of:
- UNI: 34.16%
- Ondo (ONDO): 25.44%
- Aave (AAVE): 19.97%
- Ethena (ENA): 12.19%
- Curve (CRV): 4.42%
- Lido DAO (LDO): 3.82%
GSC added BNB
The Grayscale Smart Contract Platform Fund (GSC) was adjusted under the CoinDesk Smart Contract Platform Select Capped Index. Grayscale sold part of the fund’s existing assets and used the capital to buy BNB, which became the fund’s largest holding after the rebalance.
As of Aug. 3, the GSC holdings were:
- BNB: 30.6%
- Ethereum (ETH): 29.47%
- Solana (SOL): 29.15%
- Cardano (ADA): 4.88%
- Hedera (HBAR): 2.08%
- Avalanche (AVAX): 1.92%
- Sui (SUI): 1.9%
AI Fund removed NEAR
The Grayscale Decentralized AI Fund sold NEAR Protocol (NEAR) and reallocated the proceeds to the fund’s other component assets.
As of Aug. 3, the fund held:
- NEAR: 31.35%
- Bittensor (TAO): 29.15%
- Render (RENDER): 21.59%
- Filecoin (FIL): 17.91%
