GRVT has moved its token generation event, or TGE, to late June 2026. In an official post on X, the team said the revised timeline is meant to give the platform stronger infrastructure, deeper liquidity, and a more prepared user ecosystem before launch.

The project said the change matches its roadmap. The focus, according to the announcement, is not on getting to market as fast as possible but on product readiness, ecosystem growth, and practical utility before opening up to a broader audience.

Earn, Pay, and Trade form the pre-TGE buildout

Before the TGE, GRVT plans to expand around three core pillars that it says address the “capital productivity problem.” The first is Earn, which introduces a Yield Layer infrastructure designed to let users generate returns. The initial step will be an integration with the lending protocol Aave.

The second pillar is Pay, aimed at real-world financial use cases. The roadmap says the platform intends to add fiat integrations, along with payment card support and spending functions. The third pillar is Trade, which brings spot markets to the platform. Under the latest roadmap update, spot trading is expected to go live by the end of April, making it one of the main milestones ahead of the token listing.

By completing these pieces first, the team says it wants to launch a fuller financial ecosystem rather than a single standalone product. The source material also states that the BlockDAG token is expected to become fully tradable in June.

Fixed 1 billion supply with large allocations for incentives and community

GRVT’s tokenomics are built around a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens, with no issuance beyond that cap.

Under the distribution plan, 33.1% is allocated to staking rewards, liquidity incentives, and long-term ecosystem development. Another 28.0% is set aside for campaigns, user rewards, and adoption programs. 19.9% is reserved for early supporters and partners that funded development, while 19.0% is assigned to developers and contributors, typically released through vesting schedules.

The breakdown shows a heavy weighting toward participation incentives and ecosystem expansion ahead of the TGE. Those categories sit at the center of the project’s current rollout strategy.

$20,000 trading competition targets early activity

While the launch timeline has shifted, GRVT has already started pushing early platform activity through a commodities volume trading competition. In a separate X announcement, the team said users can trade metals and commodity markets including XAU, XAG, XPT, XPD, and COPPER to compete on the leaderboard.

The event carries a $20,000 reward pool, distributed to top participants based on trading volume. It runs until March 26 at 23:59 UTC. The campaign appears to serve two immediate purposes: attracting early users and putting the trading environment through live testing before the GRVT token TGE.
