Decentralized privacy protocol Hinkal has introduced a Deposit Address feature designed to let senders transfer funds in the same way they would to a regular wallet address. According to the project, the new address format looks like a standard wallet address, which means the sender does not need to use the Hinkal interface or connect to a contract to complete the transfer. Hinkal said each incoming deposit is screened before it can move into a private balance. Funds that meet the criteria are automatically credited to the recipient’s private balance, while funds flagged as high risk remain outside that private balance. The project added that those higher-risk funds can either be returned or sent to another wallet. Hinkal said the setup is intended to prevent a single high-risk incoming transfer from affecting the risk profile of a public address.

According to the project, the new address format is the same as a regular wallet address. Senders only need to make a standard transfer, without using the Hinkal interface or connecting to a contract.

Hinkal said every deposit is screened before entering a private balance. Funds that pass the screening are automatically moved into the private balance, while high-risk funds stay outside it.

For funds identified as high risk, users can choose to return them or send them to another wallet. Hinkal said this is meant to avoid having a single high-risk transfer affect the risk profile of a public address.
