Hong Kong Cyberport has denied any investment relationship with Metafyed. According to ChainCatcher, personnel related to Cyberport told RootData after an internal review that Cyberport is not an investor in Metafyed and does not hold any equity in the company. RootData describes Metafyed as a blockchain-based real-world asset, or RWA, tokenization platform whose business covers private credit and project financing. The project had previously disclosed a $5.5 million financing round and said in its funding press release that it had received "incubation and support" from Hong Kong Cyberport, Draper, and the Stellar Development Foundation. RootData said it had already marked that financing round as "questionable" in March this year. It also urged users to pay attention to the project’s risks, assess related fundraising information carefully, and submit verifiable information or correction leads to help improve the accuracy and reliability of platform data.
