HSK Chain said on Aug. 12 that it will sponsor the "2026 Global Builders Initiative," a global developer growth program launched by Ethereum Applications Guild, or EAG, according to an official announcement cited by BlockBeats.
The two sides said they will work together to support global developer ecosystem growth and application innovation on Ethereum.
The program will expand into three emerging Web3 regions
The event adds Australia, Africa and Latin America to its competition map, extending the program into three emerging Web3 markets. According to the announcement, the move is also an important step in HSK Chain’s global ecosystem strategy.
The initiative is scheduled to run from Aug. 19 to Sept. 29, 2026. It will cover six regional developer communities: Brazil, Nigeria, Colombia, Kenya, Bolivia and Sydney, Australia.
Format combines courses, hackathons and Demo Day events
The program will be structured around online development courses, regional hackathons and offline Demo Day sessions.
Organizers expect the event to attract more than 1,000 Web3 developers from around the world and help move hundreds of innovative projects into incubation.
HSK Chain to offer dedicated tracks and a 10,000 USDT prize pool
As a sponsor, HSK Chain will set up dedicated competition tracks across all six locations and provide a total prize pool of 10,000 USDT.
The company said its support will focus on applications in AI agents, decentralized finance, stablecoin payments and real-world assets, or RWA.
Participating teams will also receive technical support, mainnet deployment services and opportunities to present at Demo Day. Projects that stand out may also gain access to the official grant program and ecosystem incubation resources.
EAG was proposed by Xiao Feng and Vitalik Buterin in 2025
EAG, short for Ethereum Applications Guild, is a global non-profit developer organization. It was jointly proposed during Token2049 in 2025 by Dr. Xiao Feng, chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
Its stated goal is to help the Ethereum ecosystem shift from infrastructure building toward application innovation.
