Hackathon Surpasses 100 Teams with 20K USDT Prize and Compute Power Support
According to the official social media of HTX DAO, the HTX Genesis Hackathon—co-hosted by HTX DAO and B.AI, and jointly organized by OpenCSG, TinTinLand, and OpenCity—has seen registered teams exceed 100. The event offers a total prize pool of 20,000 USDT and over $100,000 in computing power resources, providing substantial incentives for developers to innovate at the intersection of AI and Web3.
Participating teams are required to submit projects in areas such as $HTX token use cases, B.AI ecosystem applications and computing services, AI Agent finance, on-chain asset management, trading infrastructure, DAO tools, and intelligent financial operating systems. The registration deadline is July 5, and the finals will be held offline on July 19 during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai. This timing aligns with the global AI boom, likely drawing increased industry attention.
HTX DAO's Four Strategic Priorities: Token Rights, Hackathon, AI×Web3, and Community Outreach
HTX DAO simultaneously disclosed its near-term focus across four dimensions: first, continuously breaking down $HTX token rights through education and market activities to help users understand the token's practical utility and governance value; second, fully advancing the HTX Genesis Hackathon, progressively rolling out developer resources, ecosystem support, and exposure opportunities; third, deepening the AI×Web3 narrative, aiming to position HTX DAO as a new gateway connecting AI builders, Web3 applications, and on-chain ecosystems; and fourth, expanding community-public interest connections through charitable donations and offline actions to translate community governance outcomes into real-world impact.
From a strategic perspective, HTX DAO aims to rapidly build a developer community through the hackathon, enhance token utility via $HTX rights unbundling, and then leverage the AI narrative to elevate brand positioning. Whether this combination will help the DAO stand out in the competitive landscape of public chain DAOs warrants close observation. The subsequent progress of the hackathon and the winning projects may have a direct impact on the value capture of the $HTX ecosystem.
