TechFlow reported on June 18 that, according to an update from HTX DAO’s official social media channels, the HTX Genesis hackathon has now attracted more than 70 teams to register for the competition. The event is organized by HTX DAO and B.AI, with OpenCSG, TinTinLand and OpenCity serving as joint co-hosts.

More than 70 teams have signed up

The hackathon is designed to connect developers and teams focused on real innovation. Based on the information released by HTX DAO, the event centers on AI, Web3 and the convergence of AI × Web3, giving participating teams a defined set of themes for building and presenting their work.

The areas covered by the competition include next-generation intelligent finance, on-chain asset management, AI Agent applications, trading infrastructure, DAO tools and applications within the $HTX ecosystem. These categories place the hackathon across both crypto-native infrastructure and artificial intelligence development tracks.

Prize pool and computing support

The total prize pool for the HTX Genesis hackathon is 20,000 USDT. In addition to the cash prize pool, the event will also provide more than $100,000 in computing power support, according to the information disclosed in the official update.

The final round is scheduled to take place offline in Shanghai from July 17 to July 18 during the WAIC World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The arrangement places the hackathon finals within the broader WAIC event period, with the participating teams expected to complete the final stage of the competition during those dates.
