A HYPE whale has fully exited its position, selling the remaining 969,000 tokens for approximately $79.18 million just one hour ago, according to on-chain analytics firm Lookonchain.
The address initially withdrew 2.89 million HYPE from the exchange Gateio about a year ago and subsequently staked the tokens. Over the past month, the whale gradually sold off the entire stash, with the latest transaction marking the final liquidation.
Lookonchain data shows that the average entry price for the 2.89 million HYPE withdrawn from Gateio was $17.35. After the complete sell-off, the whale realized a cumulative profit of roughly $140 million.
