Harmony said it has updated its reconciliation work with major exchanges following the Aug. 11 incident, trimming the provisional exchange-related shortfall tied to ONE to 6.581 billion tokens from about 10.234 billion. The project said it has verified on-chain deposits, withdrawals, and cross-platform fund flows with Binance, Gate, KuCoin, MEXC, OKX, and Binance.US, and is now prioritizing coordination to restore ONE deposits, withdrawals, and trading. Each exchange will announce its own timeline for resuming services. According to Harmony, the adjustment came after matching 295 cross-exchange transfers totaling about 3.493 billion ONE and accounting for circular transfers and returned funds. The project said the change reflects a revision in reconciliation methodology rather than newly recovered assets. It also noted that Binance-related figures remain a provisional upper-bound estimate, while some Gate and OKX data still await final verification. Harmony added that exchange teams have frozen large amounts of ONE balances and hacker proceeds. The reconciliation effort will move forward alongside the ONE migration and validator transition proposal, under which validators may stop operating from 22:00 Beijing time on Sept. 10.

Harmony has released an update on exchange reconciliation work following the Aug. 11 incident, saying it has verified on-chain deposits, withdrawals, and cross-platform fund flows with Binance, Gate, KuCoin, MEXC, OKX, and Binance.US. The project said its current priority is to coordinate the restoration of ONE deposits, withdrawals, and trading, with each exchange set to announce its own reopening timetable.

Harmony said that after matching 295 cross-exchange transfers totaling about 3.493 billion ONE, and after adjusting for circular transfers and returned funds, the provisional related shortfall was revised down to 6.581 billion ONE from about 10.234 billion ONE. That marks a reduction of about 3.653 billion ONE.

The project said the change reflects an adjustment in reconciliation scope and should not be treated as newly recovered funds. It added that Binance data remains a provisional upper-bound estimate, while parts of the data from Gate and OKX are still awaiting final verification. Exchange teams have already frozen large amounts of ONE balances and hacker proceeds, according to the update.

Harmony also said this work will proceed in coordination with the ONE migration and validator transition proposal. Under that proposal, validators may stop operating from 22:00 Beijing time on Sept. 10.
