Bonk Guy comments on b-money and BNB Chain names

On Sept. 5, trader Bonk Guy wrote on his personal channel, 「我喜欢中国的比特币」, or 「I like China’s Bitcoin」, and referred to b-money as 「Chinese Bitcoin」. He is said to currently hold 17.3 million b-money, with an unrealized profit of $205,000.

GMGN data showed b-money’s market capitalization briefly rose past $19 million before pulling back to $11.35 million. The token was up 1231.6% over 24 hours.

On Sept. 6, crypto trader Unipcs, also known as Bonk Guy, said this cycle is being led by Robinhood and BNB Chain. He said he had previously focused early on Robinhood-related names, including PONS, CASHCAT and AI, which posted sharp gains over the past two months.

Bonk Guy added that the BNB Chain move is now getting started, with MARSCOIN already leading meme coin and stock-theme trading on the chain and possibly keeping that lead. He also said Binance’s large user base and MARSCOIN’s listings on Binance spot and futures have improved access to BNB Chain meme coins compared with the last cycle.

He said that if activity on BNB Chain keeps heating up, the rally may spread across multiple tokens instead of producing only one winner.

Trump calls for rate cuts after jobs data

On Sept. 4, U.S. President Donald Trump posted that the newly released employment figures were 「too good」 and had exceeded expectations. He said U.S. employers added 162,000 jobs in August.

Trump said the Federal Reserve 「should cut rates」, arguing that the country’s credit standing is much stronger than it was not long ago. He also wrote that the United States should have the lowest interest rates in the world, 「like the good old days」. In the same post, he said he would stop trading with countries that run trade surpluses with the United States.

Robinhood CEO answers criticism over tokenized stocks

On Sept. 4, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev responded to public criticism from AMC CEO Adam Aron by posting: 「What’s the concern?」

Robinhood documents show that its stock tokens have not been registered under U.S. securities laws and may not be offered, sold or delivered in the United States or to U.S. persons. The documents also show restrictions in jurisdictions including Canada, the U.K. and Switzerland.

Earlier, AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron said Robinhood was apparently pushing a tokenized real-world asset plan tied to AMC and, according to his statement, more than 190 other companies. He said those tokens were not registered under U.S. securities laws, called the move 「despicable, outrageous, and disgusting」, and said AMC had no involvement and did not endorse it in any way. Aron also said external securities counsel would be brought in to review the matter immediately.

PAIR also said it has burned more than $3 million worth of PAIR tokens so far, representing more than 10% of total supply. The project added that it will announce its 「biggest update yet」 within the next 24 hours.

Base co-founder says X account was used to post scam token content

On Sept. 6, Base co-founder Jesse Pollak said attackers used a third-party application connected to his account to publish content related to a scam token code. He said the posts have been deleted, all connected applications have been removed, and the account is now fully back under his control. He also warned users to stay alert.

According to screenshots of the deleted posts, after gaining control of Pollak’s account the attacker promoted a token called BASEMEME, described it as 「the first meme coin with real utility」, and attached an o1.exchange trading link and a contract address.
