Crypto markets traded higher on Friday, with Hyperliquid (HYPE) jumping 8.4% to lead major digital assets. Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum, BNB, and Solana all posted gains, while trading activity centered on tokens that delivered the strongest moves during the session.

Large-cap tokens advance, with HYPE leading majors

Bitcoin (BTC) rose 1.2% to $73,609.63 and recorded more than $32.7 billion in daily trading volume. XRP gained 2.6% to $1.31, outpacing several other leading cryptocurrencies. Ethereum (ETH) climbed 2.0% to $2,011.62, BNB added 0.9% to $636.93, and Solana (SOL) rose 1.9% to $82.03.

Hyperliquid stood out within the large-cap group. Its move drew attention from traders looking for stronger relative performance among the market’s biggest tokens. The day’s buying was not limited to Bitcoin, and capital also rotated into assets that showed sharper upside.

Smaller tokens post outsized returns

The strongest percentage gains came from smaller-cap tokens. Allora (ALLO) surged 158.7% and generated more than $363 million in trading volume, making it one of the market’s top gainers. Citrea (CTR) climbed 51.7%, ROLL (ROLL) advanced 43.7%, Superfortune (GUA) rose 43.5%, and Manifesting (MANIFEST) added 42.0%.

Other notable movers included NEXST (NXT), up 33.7%, MetaDAO (META), up 26.4%, and XMAQUINA (DEUS), up 24.9%. Those moves showed that buying interest extended beyond established cryptocurrencies. Activity spread across multiple names, with traders also moving into higher-volatility parts of the market.

Bitcoin and XRP help support the broader market

Gains in Bitcoin and XRP helped keep the broader market in positive territory. With large-cap assets advancing and smaller tokens posting much sharper jumps, Friday’s session reflected broad participation across the digital asset space. Hyperliquid led the majors, while tokens such as Allora and Citrea delivered even stronger percentage gains.
