Hyperliquid Labs has confirmed that its headquarters is in Singapore, according to a report by the Financial Times. Company filings identify Singapore as its registered headquarters, and recent job postings indicate the firm also has an office there. Even so, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, or MAS, has not treated Hyperliquid as falling within its regulatory perimeter. People familiar with the matter told the Financial Times that MAS viewed Hyperliquid as having a decentralized character and therefore did not consider the company to be under Singapore’s regulatory scope. MAS also said it was not aware of Hyperliquid being regulated by any major jurisdiction. The platform is known for high-leverage perpetuals trading, with products tied to price movements in cryptocurrencies, oil and stocks. Hyperliquid Labs said the platform is currently unregulated and has never claimed to be licensed or authorized by MAS.
