Zamir Holds Assessment With Northern Front Commanders
The IDF statement said Zamir held a situation assessment meeting on the same day with division- and brigade-level commanders from the IDF Northern Command. The meeting focused on the current situation in the theater, and the remarks were released by the Israeli military in its statement.
At the meeting, Zamir described the current regional situation as “sensitive and complex.” He said Lebanon is currently the IDF’s “core strategic direction,” while adding that the military is also maintaining a high level of readiness for potential developments on other fronts.
