TechFlow reported on June 16, citing The Block, that Inveniam Capital Partners plans to acquire MANTRA, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on real-world asset tokenization. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.

MANTRA’s OM decline and restructuring

The report noted that MANTRA went through a sharp decline in its native token OM in 2025, followed by restructuring and layoffs. Before this acquisition plan was disclosed, Inveniam already had an investment relationship with MANTRA: the firm invested $20 million in MANTRA last year.

MANTRA also holds a Virtual Asset Service Provider, or VASP, license issued by Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, VARA. Under that license, MANTRA is allowed to conduct digital asset exchange and brokerage activities, proprietary management, and investment services. The planned acquisition centers on MANTRA’s real-world asset tokenization business and its existing regulatory credentials.
