Digital investment platform InvestiFi has completed a $20 million funding round, according to a report from ThePayPers. Vibe Credit Union led the round, with BankTech Ventures, ICCU (Idaho Central Credit Union), United Financial Credit Union, Coastal Credit Union and other U.S. credit unions joining as participants. InvestiFi helps traditional financial institutions bring digital asset investing into their existing online banking channels. The platform supports cryptocurrency trading, stablecoin products, stocks and ETFs. End users can invest directly from a checking or savings account, so there is no need to transfer money to an external brokerage or a separate crypto platform before placing a trade. In practice, this means the investment can be made in the same place a customer already holds their funds. It also lets banks and credit unions offer these products without sending customers to a different app or portal. Taken together, the platform spans asset classes ranging from digital currencies to conventional securities. The new capital will be used to expand the platform.
