According to ChainCatcher, Ionic Digital has released its mining and operations update for May 2026. The company reported that it mined 24.77 bitcoin during the month, representing a 21.1% increase from the previous month. The update centers on Ionic Digital’s mining output and operational metrics for May, with bitcoin production showing a month-on-month rise.
On the hashrate side, Ionic Digital said its average daily hashrate reached 1.74 EH/s in May, up 15.3% month on month. EH/s is a unit used to measure the scale of computing power in bitcoin mining. In the company’s disclosure, the key operating figures were the number of bitcoin mined and the average daily hashrate achieved during the month.
Ionic Digital attributed the improvement in May production and hashrate mainly to better capacity and operating performance at its Midland mining site. The update did not include additional financial figures or further details on other sites, focusing instead on May 2026 bitcoin output, daily hashrate, and the contribution from improved operations at Midland.
