ChainCatcher reported, citing monitoring by PeckShieldAlert, that the attacker behind the incident involving MEV bot JaredFromSubway stole 1,474.58 WETH, 2.87 million USDC and 2 million USDT. The stolen funds were then exchanged by the attacker into 4,400 ETH.
Stolen funds were swapped and partly deposited
According to the monitoring update, the attacker has converted the stolen assets into 4,400 ETH and has already deposited 1,000 ETH into TornadoCash. The tracked funds involve several on-chain assets named in the alert, including WETH, USDC, USDT and ETH.
The update follows an earlier report that MEV bot JaredFromSubway had been attacked, with approximately $7.5 million in assets stolen. The latest information adds details on the composition of the stolen assets, the swap into ETH, and the movement of part of those funds into TornadoCash.
