ChainCatcher reported, citing monitoring by PeckShieldAlert, that the attacker behind the MEV bot JaredFromSubway incident stole 1,474.58 WETH, 2.87 million USDC and 2 million USDT. The attacker then converted the stolen funds into 4,400 ETH.
1,000 ETH deposited into TornadoCash
According to the monitoring information, after completing the asset conversion, the attacker deposited 1,000 ETH into TornadoCash. WETH, USDC, USDT and ETH are common assets within the Ethereum ecosystem, while TornadoCash is an on-chain mixing tool. The reported fund movement was disclosed through PeckShieldAlert’s on-chain monitoring.
The latest transfer follows the previously reported attack on the MEV bot JaredFromSubway, in which around $7.5 million in assets was stolen. The public information currently covers the composition of the stolen assets, the 4,400 ETH received after conversion, and the 1,000 ETH that has entered TornadoCash, as reported by ChainCatcher based on PeckShieldAlert’s monitoring.
