Jiang Zhuoer, founder of BTC.TOP, said in a post on X that Binance’s potential loss appears limited relative to the exchange’s user assets and is unlikely to trigger a large-scale withdrawal wave. He compared the situation with the Bybit hack in February 2025, when about $1.46 billion was stolen, equal to 9.01% of Bybit’s roughly $16.2 billion in user assets. For Binance, he said that if gross outflows reached $5.64 billion and $3 billion of that amount had already been frozen, the remaining exposure would be about $2.64 billion. Based on his figures, that would account for around 1.6% of Binance’s roughly $165.12 billion in user assets. Jiang also said gross outflow figures may include internal fund transfers by the platform as well as normal user withdrawals, meaning the full amount should not automatically be treated as stolen funds. On that basis, he said Binance has the capacity to absorb the related losses.

Odaily reported that Jiang Zhuoer, founder of BTC.TOP, said in a post on X that Binance’s potential loss represents a limited share of user assets and is unlikely to set off a large-scale withdrawal wave.

He compared the situation with the Bybit hack in February 2025. According to Jiang, about $1.46 billion was stolen from Bybit at that time, equal to 9.01% of its roughly $16.2 billion in user assets.

Using Binance as the comparison, he said that if gross outflows in the current case were $5.64 billion and $3 billion of that amount had already been frozen, the remaining amount would be about $2.64 billion. Based on his figures, that would equal 1.6% of Binance’s roughly $165.12 billion in user assets.

Jiang added that gross outflows may also include internal fund transfers within the platform and normal user withdrawals, so the full amount should not be treated as stolen funds. He said Binance is capable of bearing the related losses.
