Johnny Ng to Attend GWDC 2026 KOREA as Keynote Speaker

Techub News said Johnny Ng will attend GWDC 2026 KOREA as a speaking guest. Ng is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and a Hong Kong Legislative Council member. He serves as chairman of the Legislative Council Panel on Commerce, Industry, Innovation and Technology, and previously chaired the subcommittee on Web3 and virtual asset development. The conference is scheduled for Sept. 29-30, 2026, at aT Center in Seoul. It is organized by Web3Labs, with Techub News, HypaiLabs and TokenPost as co-hosts, and is supported by the Hong Kong-Korea Web3 Policy Promotion Alliance. Organizers said the event is built around the theme "For Builders, By Builders" and will focus on technical innovation and industry use cases across Web3, AI, on-chain infrastructure and the digital asset ecosystem. The program will include keynotes, technical forums, project showcases, business matchmaking and a hackathon. Registration for the conference and the hackathon is already open. Organizers expect the hackathon to attract more than 500 developers from around the world. It will center on real on-chain tasks, with guidance from industry mentors and judging from institutional VC representatives. The event is expected to produce more than 100 innovative projects. The conference will also include showcases for new projects and VC matchmaking sessions, with the goal of supporting global launches, liquidity growth and ecosystem development for selected teams.
