Securitize said it has received a strategic equity investment from Jump Crypto as the two companies deepen their push into tokenized real-world assets, or RWAs. Announced on May 8, the deal is designed to improve institutional access to onchain investment products and strengthen collateral management tools built on blockchain infrastructure.
Partnership targets tokenized securities growth
Securitize is one of the better-known platforms in digital securities, having tokenized more than $3.8 billion in securities. The company works with major asset managers including BlackRock and Apollo, offering end-to-end tokenization services. By bringing in Jump Crypto, Securitize adds a partner with experience in trading infrastructure, liquidity, and blockchain-focused market development.
Jump Crypto, the digital asset arm of Jump Trading Group, said the collaboration will focus on addressing key pain points in digital asset markets, including liquidity, risk management, and accessibility. A major area of interest is the development of compliant frameworks that allow tokenized RWAs to be used as collateral in lending and trading environments, with institutional investors as the primary audience.
Compliance and market structure in focus
Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said the partnership aims to create a smoother path for investors seeking tokenized opportunities while maintaining high standards of security and compliance. Jump Crypto also emphasized that tokenization is likely to play a central role in the future evolution of financial markets, underscoring why the firm continues to invest in digital asset infrastructure.
The announcement comes as demand for tokenized RWAs continues to rise across global markets. Industry participants increasingly view blockchain as a way to reduce settlement times and improve asset interoperability. Securitize said it will use the new capital to advance its platform and explore additional use cases. With its regulatory focus and institutional partnerships, the company is positioning itself as a major player in the $500 billion-plus RWA tokenization market.
