HTX DAO held its "Future Night" event in Singapore on Oct. 6, where core supporter Justin Sun joined by video to outline his view of the crypto sector and the next stage of the digital economy. Sun said crypto is becoming more closely linked with traditional finance, a shift he described as part of the continued digitalization of global financial infrastructure. He drew a distinction between the roles of AI and crypto, saying AI is changing how wealth is created, while crypto and digital finance are changing how wealth is held and moved. Sun also pointed to several areas he believes will keep developing. He said stablecoins could take on a bigger role in global payments and settlement, while on-chain applications for traditional assets such as bonds, funds, and gold will continue to be explored. He added that once AI agents enter real economic activity, demand for identity systems, accounts, and independent transaction capabilities will grow. During the same period, HTX DAO said it would host several invitation-only events, and HTX Ventures is scheduled to appear at TOKEN2049 on Oct. 7-8 at booth PB5-47&48.

HTX DAO held its "Future Night" event in Singapore on Oct. 6. Justin Sun, described as a core supporter of HTX DAO, appeared by video as a special guest speaker and shared his views on crypto industry trends and the future of the digital economy.

Sun said the crypto sector is becoming more deeply connected with traditional finance, pushing global financial infrastructure through an ongoing digital transition. In his view, AI is changing how wealth is created, while crypto and digital finance are changing how wealth is held and how it moves.

Sun highlights stablecoins, tokenized traditional assets, and AI agents

Sun said, "Stablecoins are expected to play a more important role in global payments and settlement, and on-chain applications for traditional assets such as bonds, funds, and gold will continue to be explored and developed. When AI agents truly enter economic activity, that will create additional demand for identity, accounts, and independent transaction capabilities."

He also said the long-term value of technology depends on whether it can be turned into real productivity. Sun added that the "free flow of value in the digital world" is the trend he will watch most closely over the next decade, and said he hopes blockchain technology can improve the accessibility, convenience, and efficiency of financial services.

More HTX DAO events scheduled around TOKEN2049

The event also strengthened exchanges between HTX DAO, the global community, and industry builders. HTX Ventures is set to appear at TOKEN2049 on Oct. 7-8, with its booth located at PB5-47&48.

From Oct. 6 to Oct. 8, HTX DAO also plans to host several invitation-only events, including Old Friends gatherings and VIP private dinners, aimed at connecting community members, industry builders, and ecosystem partners.
