According to Protos, Justin Sun said in a lengthy post on X that he paid Chinese actress Jing Tian 30 million yuan in exchange for an arrangement under which she would provide her eggs. Sun claimed that after taking the money, Jing refused to proceed unless he paid an additional 20 million yuan, and said he is now suing her in China.
The report identified Jing as an actress known to US audiences for roles in Kong: Skull Island and Pacific Rim Uprising. Jing, through her studio, denied Sun’s allegations.
Jing Tian studio rejects Sun’s account
Jing said in a statement that Sun was attempting to “use [her] reputation as leverage” and added that “all matters [involving Sun] will be handled by the court.”
Protos also included a letter issued by Jing Tian’s studio that denied Sun’s claims and said the matter would be handled by a Chinese court.
Sun says he arranged a trip to Laguna Beach
Sun said he sent Jing to a five-star resort in Laguna Beach to have her eggs removed, but claimed she left without undergoing the procedure. He also said that after Jing asked for more money, he turned to Claude for therapy. According to Sun, the AI told him not to pay, and he refused.
Report says Sun moved to block asset transfers
Protos wrote that, according to individuals following the dispute through Chinese social media and the courts, Sun has moved to make sure Jing cannot transfer her assets. If Jing were to lose the case, that would help Sun recover his money.
Case could create legal pressure for both sides
Protos said the dispute, now airing publicly, could look bad for both parties if it moves forward in court. The report added that surrogacy is strictly prohibited in China. If Sun was trying to obtain Jing’s eggs and Jing was willing to provide them, Protos said both could face fines or jail time.
