Kelp announced that cross-chain bridging for rsETH has been officially discontinued across 20 networks. The project emphasized that the asset backing for users remains secure, and that users who did not complete their cross-chain operations before the deadline can still recover their assets through a designated recovery process.

Under the process outlined by Kelp, users must first burn rsETH on the source chain and pay a fixed fee of 100 USDC on the Ethereum mainnet. After completing both steps, users need to submit the two transaction records to the official team by email. Kelp said the team will process settlements on a quarterly basis and return the corresponding rsETH to the Ethereum mainnet.

Users in the Movement ecosystem will follow a separate handling process, though Kelp said the same asset security protection mechanism will apply. The recovery window will remain open until June 15, 2027. Kelp also reminded users to submit requests only through the official designated email address in order to avoid related risks.
