Kelp has officially discontinued rsETH cross-chain bridging across 20 networks while stating that asset backing remains secure. Users who missed the deadline can follow a recovery process involving rsETH burning, a 100 USDC fee on Ethereum mainnet and email submission of two transaction records.

Odaily reported that Kelp has officially stopped cross-chain bridging services for rsETH across 20 networks. The project stated that the backing of user assets remains secure, and that users who did not complete their cross-chain operations before the deadline can still retrieve their assets through a recovery process provided by the team.

Under the process described by Kelp, affected users must first burn rsETH on the source chain and then pay a fixed fee of 100 USDC on the Ethereum mainnet. After completing both steps, users are required to submit the two transaction records to the official team by email. Kelp said it will settle these recovery requests on a quarterly basis and transfer the corresponding rsETH back to the Ethereum mainnet.

Kelp added that users in the Movement ecosystem will follow a separate handling process, while the asset security protection mechanism will remain the same. The recovery window will stay open until June 15, 2027. The project also reminded users to submit requests only through the specified official email channel in order to avoid risk.
